What is a 3+1+1 recliner set?

A coordinated suite of a reclining 3-seater sofa and two matching reclining armchairs, so the whole family gets a seat that leans back and raises a footrest. It's a lovely way to furnish a living room for relaxing, with everything in the same design so it coordinates perfectly, and because each piece reclines, everyone can find their own comfortable position.

What does 3+1+1 mean?

Each number is a piece by its number of seats: 3 is a 3-seater sofa, and each 1 is a single armchair. So 3+1+1 is a 3-seater sofa plus two matching armchairs — a full suite that seats around five, and because every piece is from the same design it all coordinates. In this range, all three pieces recline, so the sofa and both chairs lean back and raise a footrest.

Are they all recliners?

Yes — every set in this range reclines. There are no fixed, non-reclining suites here: each piece, the sofa and both armchairs, leans back and raises a footrest. Sets come as either electric recliners, operated at the touch of a button, or manual recliners, worked by hand — the product page tells you which a particular set is.

How do the electric and manual recliners work?

Both lean the seat back and raise a footrest, then return upright — the difference is control. A manual recliner is worked by hand, with a lever or a push-back and no socket needed. An electric recliner is powered by a quiet motor and controlled from a button or handset, stopping wherever you let go, and needs a nearby mains socket. Both are comfort features.

Do the electric recliners need a power socket?

Yes — the electric recliners in the range are powered, so they need to sit within reach of a mains socket for the motor to work. The manual recliners don't need power at all. For an electric set, remember that both armchairs and the sofa may each need to reach a socket, so it's worth planning where they'll go. The product page confirms whether a set is electric or manual.

What materials are available?

Three distinct materials: genuine leather (real leather, a natural hide that's luxurious and hard-wearing), Leather Aire (a leather-look upholstery that wipes clean easily — not genuine leather, and not faux), and fabric (soft, woven and cosy). We keep all three clearly separate, so check each product page for what a particular set is made from.

Genuine leather, Leather Aire or fabric — which should I choose?

It comes down to look, feel and care. Genuine leather is the premium, natural choice — supple and characterful, wiped and occasionally conditioned. Leather Aire gives a smart, leather-style look with the easiest care, a simple wipe, though it's a leather-look material, not genuine. Fabric is the softest and cosiest, cared for by vacuuming and spot-cleaning. It's about what suits your household.

What colours are available?

Ten. The grey family spans light grey, grey and dark grey, alongside smart, forgiving black. Warm neutrals include brown, tan and caramel, and mustard adds a golden-yellow statement. The paler shades, beige and cream, are soft and light but show marks more readily than darker tones, so they reward a little more care. Each product photo shows the exact shade.

Cream and beige look beautiful and make a room feel light, but they show everyday marks more readily than darker tones, so they reward a little more care. In a wipe-clean material — genuine leather or Leather Aire — marks tend to lift with a wipe; a cream fabric set benefits from a bit more attention. If your household is especially busy, one of the darker colours may be more forgiving.

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 14-day change of mind returns window from the day your order is delivered, on items returned in their original condition. To arrange a return, contact our team within those 14 days and we'll talk you through the next steps. This is in addition to your statutory rights, which cover goods that are faulty or not as described.

What happens if my suite arrives damaged?

If any piece arrives with damage, contact our team as soon as possible — ideally within 48 hours — with a few photographs, and we'll arrange a repair, replacement or collection. It helps to check each piece over on delivery before the team leaves where you can, including testing the recline on the sofa and both chairs.

Do I need to assemble the suite myself?

There's very little to do. Our two-person team brings each piece into your room and fits any feet on-site, so it's ready to use. For the electric sets it's simply a case of plugging each piece into a nearby socket, with no tools needed from you.

What guarantee comes with these suites?

Every piece is inspected before it leaves us, and your purchase is protected by your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which cover goods that are faulty or not as described. You also have our 14-day change of mind returns. For confirmation of any specific manufacturer guarantee, including the recline mechanism, please check the product page or ask our team before you order.
