What is a corner sofa?

A corner sofa seats along two walls from a single frame, using a corner of the room that would otherwise sit empty. Designs that turn once are also called L shape sofas, and designs that turn twice are U shape corner sofas. Ours come in fabric and Leather Aire, in six colours.

What is the difference between a left hand and a right hand corner sofa?

Stand in front of the sofa and look at it: on a left hand corner sofa the longer run of seating extends to your left, and on a right hand corner sofa it extends to your right. Some manufacturers describe this from the seated position, so check the configuration on the product page or call 02476 705 600 to confirm.

Can the corner be swapped from left hand to right hand after delivery?

On most designs the corner is fixed in place and cannot be swapped once the sofa is built, so the hand you choose at the point of order is the hand you keep. Check the configuration on the product page, or call our team on 02476 705 600 and we will confirm it for you.

What is a U shape corner sofa?

A U shape corner sofa turns twice rather than once, so the seating wraps three sides of a coffee table. It suits larger square rooms and open-plan spaces and needs clearance on three sides. The sections are large, so check hallways, doorways and stair turns before ordering.

Are your corner sofas available in leather?

Some designs are upholstered in Leather Aire, a hard-wearing leather-look upholstery material with an easy-clean surface. It is not genuine leather and we do not describe it as such. If you are looking specifically for genuine hide, speak to our team on 02476 705 600 before ordering.

What colours are corner sofas available in?

Corner sofas are carried in cream, beige, silver, grey, brown and black, with the colours available shown on each product page. Cream and beige lift a darker room but show marks sooner, while grey, brown and black are more forgiving of everyday use.

Are reclining corner sofas available?

A reclining action is available on a single design in this collection rather than across the range, so check that model's availability before planning around it. Leave clearance behind the reclining seat so the backrest can travel fully, and call 02476 705 600 if you would like the mechanism explained.

What size room do I need for a corner sofa?

This depends on the design. Measure both walls the sofa will sit against, mark the footprint on the floor with masking tape, and leave around 60cm of clear space on any route people use regularly. Compare those figures against the dimensions on the product page before ordering.

Can a corner sofa be used as a guest bed?

A corner sofa bed converts for occasional guests without needing a second piece of furniture in the room. The mattress is thinner than a bed mattress, so it suits occasional nights rather than permanent use, and you need clearance in front to lay it out. Check the open and closed dimensions before ordering.

What are the delivery options on a corner sofa?

Delivery is free to England & Wales and most orders arrive within 7 to 10 working days, brought in by our own two-person team to a ground-floor room, access permitting. You will get a confirmed delivery date once your order is placed, and old sofa removal can be added at checkout.

Can I spread the cost of a corner sofa?

Yes. At checkout you can choose PayPal Pay in 3, Klarna Pay in 3 or Pay in 30, Clearpay's four interest-free fortnightly payments, or DivideBuy for a longer-term plan. These options are interest-free and subject to credit check, and what appears at checkout depends on each provider's own eligibility criteria.

Can I return a corner sofa if I change my mind?

Yes. There is a 14-day change of mind returns window, so the sofa can go back if it does not suit once it is in the room. Because a corner sofa is a large item, keep the packaging where you can if you think it might go back. Call 02476 705 600 and we will arrange collection.
