What is the 3+2+1 fabric sofa range?

Our collection of matching fabric sofa sets, sold as coordinated combinations so you can furnish a whole room in one go. It's named after the popular 3+2+1 layout but holds a range of combinations, all in a warm, hard-wearing fabric, in traditional and reclining styles and five colours.

What does 3+2+1 mean?

Each number is the number of seats in one piece of the set. So a 3+2+1 is a three-seater sofa, plus a two-seater sofa, plus a one-seater (a single armchair) — three matching pieces. The same logic applies to the others, such as 3+1+1 (a three-seater with two armchairs) or 2+2 (two two-seaters).

What combinations are available?

Popular layouts include 3+2+1, 3+1+1, 2+1+1, 2+2 and 3+2, with more besides. A 2+2 or 2+1+1 suits a medium room, while a 3+2 or 3+2+1 gives a busy family plenty of matching seats, and combinations with individual chairs (like 3+1+1 or 2+1+1) are handy if you like a separate armchair. Check the product grid above for what's in stock.

What material are the sets — is it leather?

No. Every set in this collection is upholstered in a woven fabric, a hard-wearing upholstery fabric chosen for everyday durability. It's a fabric, kept distinct from other finishes: it isn't a plush velvet, a brushed suede, or a smooth leather or leather-look material. It's warm to sit on and practical for a busy family room.

Are the sets recliners or traditional, and manual or electric?

Both traditional and reclining sets are available. A traditional set is fixed, with no mechanism to maintain. A manual recliner tilts back using a side handle, with nothing to plug in, while an electric recliner reclines at the touch of a button and needs a mains socket nearby. Each product page states which style a set is.

What colours are available?

Five: black, brown, beige, grey and cream. Black and grey are cool and forgiving of everyday marks, brown is warm and classic, and beige and cream are soft, light neutrals that reward a little more care as paler shades. Check the product grid above for current stock in each colour.

How much space does a sofa set need?

Measure the room for every piece, allowing space to walk around, and for any recliner leave clearance behind for the backrest and in front for the footrest, with a socket nearby for an electric set. Just as important, measure your doorways, hallways and stairwells, since a full set is a large delivery. Each product page lists the dimensions.

How do I clean and care for a fabric sofa set?

Vacuum each piece weekly on a low setting or with an upholstery brush to lift dust, crumbs and pet hair, and plump and rotate the cushions to keep them even. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth and avoid soaking the fabric. For marks, use a cleaner suitable for upholstery fabric, test it on a hidden area first, and check the care label.

What is the difference between fabric, velvet, suede and leather sofas?

A woven fabric like this range's is a hard-wearing, comfortable everyday weave. Velvet is a soft, plush pile with a sheen and natural shading. Suede is a brushed, soft-touch finish. Leather and leather-look materials are smooth and wipe clean. They're all different upholstery types, and we keep them clearly distinct so you know exactly what you're buying.

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 14-day change of mind returns window from the day your set is delivered, on items returned in their original condition. To arrange a return, contact our team within those 14 days and we'll talk you through the next steps. This is in addition to your statutory rights, which cover goods that are faulty or not as described.

What happens if my set arrives damaged?

If your set arrives with any damage, contact our team as soon as possible — ideally within 48 hours — with a few photographs, and we'll arrange a repair, replacement or collection. It helps to check every piece over on delivery before the team leaves where you can, and to test any recline.

Do I need to assemble the set myself?

There's very little to do. Our two-person team brings the pieces into your room, connects any sections and fits any feet on-site, so the set is ready to use, and an electric recliner piece simply plugs into a mains socket. Larger pieces arrive ready or in parts that link together, with no tools needed.

What guarantee comes with these sets?

Every set is inspected before it leaves us, and your purchase is protected by your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which cover goods that are faulty or not as described. You also have our 14-day change of mind returns. For confirmation of any specific manufacturer guarantee on a particular model, please check the product page or ask our team before you order.
