What counts as a large corner sofa?

A large corner sofa is one of the more generously sized corner designs, with wider seating runs, deeper chaise sections and, in the U-shape versions, full wrap-around seating. They are built for bigger families and open-plan rooms where a standard corner sofa would not give everyone a proper seat, so the focus is on seating capacity and space to stretch out.

What is the difference between an L-shape and a U-shape corner sofa?

An L-shape corner sofa has one return, tucking into a corner and seating several people; a U-shape adds a second return for wrap-around seating and the most capacity. The U-shape seats more but needs more floor space, so it suits larger or open-plan rooms, while an L-shape fits a wider range of layouts.

How do I choose between a left-hand and right-hand corner sofa?

Stand where the sofa will go and picture the longer section running along one wall - whichever side that longer part needs to sit on is the handing you need. Because left-hand and right-hand are described differently across retailers, always check the orientation diagram on the product page to confirm you are ordering the correct side.

How many people can a large corner sofa seat?

It depends on the design, but large corner sofas are built to seat more people than a standard corner - typically four, five or more across the seating runs, with the U-shape and larger L-shapes offering the most. The exact seat count is on each product page, so check it against how many usually sit down at once.

What materials are large corner sofas available in?

The collection spans soft fabric, plush velvet, genuine and manual-recliner leather, and hard-wearing jumbo cord. Fabric and velvet feel warm and offer the widest colour choice; leather wipes clean and suits busy homes; cord is chunky and casual. Check each product page for the material, as it affects both the look and how you clean it.

Are there recliner or sofa bed options in this collection?

Yes - alongside the fixed corner sofas, the range includes leather manual-recliner corner sofas for added comfort and fabric corner sofa beds that convert to a sleeping surface for guests. If a reclining or sofa-bed corner is what you are after, look for those specific models, or check the product page to confirm the feature before ordering.

How much do large corner sofas cost?

Prices start at £299.99 for selected outlet corner sofas and run up to around £1,299.99 for the largest U-shape designs, with most falling in between. Many are reduced from a higher regular price, so check the individual product page for the current figure, and remember you can spread the cost with finance at the checkout.

How do I measure for a large corner sofa?

Measure both walls the sofa will run along, plus the overall depth, and mark the shape on the floor with tape to see the walkways it leaves. Crucially for a large sofa, measure your access route - doorways, hallways, tight turns and stairs - since these arrive in sections and each one has to be carried in. Measuring first avoids a sofa that fits the room but not the door.

How do I care for my corner sofa?

Care depends on the material. Vacuum fabric and brush velvet gently to keep the pile even; wipe leather with a soft, slightly damp cloth and condition genuine hide occasionally; and shake out cord. For all of them, deal with spills promptly, avoid harsh chemicals, and keep the sofa out of strong direct sunlight so the colour stays even.

What finance options are available?

You can spread the cost with PayPal Pay in 3, Klarna Pay in 3 or Pay in 30, and Clearpay across four fortnightly payments, all interest-free, or with DivideBuy over a longer term, subject to credit check. There is also 0% deposit available, and you choose the provider that suits your budget at the checkout.

How long does delivery take, and can you remove my old sofa?

Most in-stock corner sofas are delivered within around 7 to 10 working days, with free delivery across England and Wales, and we confirm the date with you in advance. Our two-person team brings each section into your ground-floor room and sets it up, and if you would like your old sofa taken away, select old sofa removal at the checkout.

What happens if my corner sofa arrives damaged?

If any section arrives damaged, contact us on 02476 705 600 or by email as soon as it is delivered and we will arrange a repair or a replacement. Because a large corner sofa comes in several pieces, it helps to check each one over on the day it arrives, so anything that needs putting right can be sorted quickly.

What is your returns policy?

If you change your mind, our 14-day returns policy lets you arrange a return within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is in its original condition. With a large corner sofa it is especially worth measuring your room and access, and confirming the handing, before you order, so you are confident it fits before it arrives.
