Cidliano Caramel Leather Electric Recliner Sofas

What Is the Cidliano Caramel Electric Recliner Range?

The Cidliano Caramel is a coordinated range of electric recliner sofas made from genuine leather in a warm caramel finish, where every seat reclines at the push of a button. Rather than mixing materials or colours, the range keeps one rich caramel leather throughout and gives you the choice in size instead - from a single armchair right up to a full three-piece set. Because every piece matches, you can buy one seat now and add to it later, or take a complete set in one go, and it all coordinates. With eleven configurations in stock and prices from £649.99, there is a Cidliano Caramel to suit most rooms. To see the wider powered options, browse our full recliner sofas range.

How to Choose the Right Cidliano Caramel Configuration

Because the colour, material and mechanism are fixed, the only real decision is the configuration - how many seats you need and how they are arranged. Here is how the options work in practice. For a fuller walkthrough, read our recliner sofa buying guide.

Armchair and single seats

The armchair is a single electric reclining seat at £649.99 - ideal as a standalone chair, a companion to a sofa, or the +1 piece in a set. It is also the easiest piece to move through a tight doorway or up a flight of stairs.

2 and 3 seater sofas

The 2 seater (£899.99) suits couples and smaller rooms, while the 3 seater (£1,049.99) is the natural main sofa for most living rooms, with a reclining seat at each end for two people to relax at once.

Two-piece sets

For a fuller living room, the 2+1, 3+1, 2+2, 3+2 and 3+3 sets pair a sofa with a second sofa or armchair, from around £1,449.99. A recliner sofa set is the simplest way to seat the whole family in one matching leather finish.

Three-piece sets

The largest layouts - 2+1+1, 3+1+1 and 3+2+1 - give the most reclining seats for busy households or open-plan rooms, up to £1,999.99 for the 3+2+1 suite.

Why Choose Caramel Genuine Leather?

Caramel is a warm, characterful amber-brown that brings richness and a natural focal point to a room, working beautifully with warm neutrals, greens, blues and wood tones. In genuine leather it looks its best - the hide carries the colour with real depth, and it softens and develops a gentle patina with use, so it ages with character rather than simply wearing. It also feels cool in summer, warms as you settle in, and wipes clean easily day to day. If you would like to see the wider choice of hides, our leather sofas range shows other genuine leather options.

Because it is a warm mid-tone, caramel is also forgiving of everyday marks. If you are set on a warm shade, our tan sofas range shows more to compare.

How Does the Electric Recline Work?

Every seat in the Cidliano Caramel range reclines electrically. A control button built into the side of the seat drives a quiet motor that tilts the backrest and raises the footrest, and it stops and holds at any point you choose, so the position is infinitely adjustable rather than fixed to a few notches. Each powered seat needs to sit within reach of a mains socket, so plan where the sofa will go before it arrives.

How to Measure and Position Your Recliner

Measure the wall space for the piece you want, then allow clearance in front for the footrests to open and a little behind for the backrests to tilt - a larger set needs noticeably more room than a single sofa. Just as important with a powered range, plan where the mains sockets are, because each seat needs a plug within reach and a tidy cable run. Measure your doorways, hallways and stairs too, since a set arrives as several separate pieces that each have to be carried in.

Caring for Genuine Leather

Genuine leather is easy to live with but rewards a little more than a wipe-clean finish. Dust it regularly and wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth, dealing with spills promptly rather than letting them soak in, and avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cloths. A couple of times a year, treat it with a suitable leather conditioner to keep the hide supple and prevent it drying out - this is the main difference from a coated leather-look finish. Keeping the sofa out of strong, direct sunlight and away from radiators also helps the warm caramel colour stay even for years.

Is the Cidliano Caramel Right for Your Room?

The Cidliano Caramel suits anyone who wants the premium look and feel of genuine leather with the comfort of powered reclining. In a snug or smaller room, the armchair or 2 seater keeps the footprint tight; in a family living room, a 3+2 or three-piece set gives everyone their own reclining seat; and the warm caramel makes a rich, welcoming focal point in both. The main things to weigh are the space the footrests need when open and having a socket within reach of each seat. A matching footstool rounds off the seating if you would like somewhere extra to put your feet up.
